Hey @LilSki, love the track. It's one of my favorites. What would make it absolutely perfect is if you could fix the DRS. It's currently not working.

There's no DRS specifications for Road America in real life, so it was done on purpose, not broken

John is correct in that it was done on purpose. But someone did release new AI lines and DRS zones for the track if you wanted to use it.

I know there's not DRS in real life. Lilski did incluse a file called "drs_zones". Opening this file with notepad, you can see that a DRS zone does exist, but just for 1000th of a second.

The file has to be there to fully disable the DRS. Without the file it is active all the time around the entire track. With the file there DRS is only "active" for a split second by the start/finish line.

For those comparing lap times with real ones, consider that those set in the real Road America from now on will be "significantly" faster (3-5 seconds). Some mismatches therefore in lap times and lap pace could be unavoidable.

Yeah I've been waiting for a proper race weekend like we are about to get to see all the changes. There will be an update at some point following that will be smoother and be all repaved. I MAY make it an alternate layout since the current surface just has so much character I would hate to lose it forever.
