We begin our 6th season over a GBR. We have changed things up a bit. We will be running the actual V8 Supercars calendar this year. We have also increased the length of the races and set tire wear to x2. For this event, we ran 39 laps at the iconic street circuit, Adelaide. It was up to the drivers to decide if they wished to use soft or intermediate compounds. While softs are much quicker, they require 2 pit stops while the more durable intermediates would only require 1 stop. This definitely came into play as I had hoped during the course of the race.

We will still have some events as 2 race formats (shorter durations than the single events). In these races, one race will require inters and the second race softs.

Definitely made for some action packed racing, especially given that it's the first race of the season, new format, and one of the toughest street circuits in the world. Hope you enjoy.
