Rfactor + Le Mans + Endurance Pack

Discussion in 'rFactor' started by Chris Partridge, Dec 9, 2012.

  1. Hi -- can anyone recommend which mods to install for the best endurance racing -- ala 2012 season -- at Le Mans. I'd need the track, the car pack and possibily the "realfeel" mod too? Also, what leagues run this series. Thanks for any help. Hoping there will one day be such a mod for rF2 too :)
  2. Your best bet for rFactor endurance racing is Enduracer's Endurance Series mod. You can get that and all the information you need to run it correctly here: http://enduracers.com/downloads.html

In terms of the track, the version of Le Mans that is most true to life is VirtuaLM's: http://www.virtua-lm.com/lemans/download_7286.php and http://www.virtua-lm.com/lemans/download_9196.php
They don't have a modern version - the 1991-1996 version is the most recent one they have created. There is a version available here (http://www.virtualr.net/le-mans-2004-snl-edition-released) that simulates the 2004 layout, but it's a NASCAR 2003 conversion and is extremely inaccurate in terms of width and corner speeds.

And the RealFeel plugin can be downloaded at rFactor Central: http://rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Real Feel FFB Plugin

    Hope this helps!

  3. Thanks -- got them! Fantastic mods...

I am getting a little bit of stuttering -- even with high FPS -- on my SLI rig. Should be meaty enough to handle it i'd have tohught...
  4. Sorted the problem - lowered the number of cars fdom 60 to 30 :)

as Rhys Gardiner said the endurance series by Enduracers is great for endurance races, besides the Le Mans track by virtua_lm i would recomend the Mid Ohio, Fuji and Sebring, all by Virtua_lm, i find it really fun to race with those cars in those tracks, in the summer i made some endurance races offline on those track and it was really fun. i would also recomend a version of spa, you can find some versions at www.rfactorcentral.co, you just have to choose wath you like the most, if you can find a good version of Road Atlanta it is a good track for these cars too

  6. Thanks -- yes highly impressed with Virtua_LM's tracks -- I have Sebring for rF2 and love it. One question: why will rFactor 1 not recognise my FREX Shifter? Is there any way to increase the number of controllers it supports?

unfortunately i won't be able to help you with that, i don't understand much about that subject :(
  8. No problem - will try to grab a utility to map the keystrokes. Really hoping this gets converted for rF2 by the team :)
