rFactor 2 locking up! Please help!

Recently I've had issues with rF2 locking up after a few laps.. sometimes I can ctr+alt+del and log out of windows and sometimes everything freezes and I need to press the reset button... I've tried reinstalling the game and changing graphics settings but no luck.. any ideas where to look whats causing the issues?

Hi, I had the same issues recently, and solved this by starting my sim rig from the iRacing.com website, instead of the RF2 launcher. This has been a great solution so far, hope it helps for you!

He's saying you should switch to iRacing lol. Are you using VR by chance? Does this happen with every car and track or only mods?

Oh I see the joke now

I do in fact have an iRacing subscription but I suck at online so I like rF2 to lap around with the AI for fun..

No VR and so far it happens on any car and track combo, and I only have the official content.
