rFactor 2: announced the BTCC 2022 Pack with the hybrid arriving in 2023

The British Touring Car Championship is still the protagonist in the Studio 397 announcements regarding the rF2: this time, however, it is not a new car, but an update to the 2022 season with the consequent Balance of Performance and an update to the touring car tire model.

The most important news, however, is that regarding the hybrid: with the Q1 2023 build, the TOCA Hybrid system used in the BTCC will make its debut on rFactor 2. Unlike the system we have come to know in Formula 1 and the WEC, the hybrid used in the British category is more like a temporary boost; to simulate this Studio 397 has relied on the Push to Pass system, but with the first build next year a more similar to reality will be introduced. It is likely that more "canonical" hybrid systems will also be added during 2023, given that the same team is eager to be able to add hybrid in all its forms.

However, the Q4 bonus drop is not yet complete: tomorrow around 5pm the second and last car of this surprise pack will be announced, a car that many will like according to the developers. We just have to wait.
