The excellent Endurance Series mod by EnduRacers and the Gentlemen Modding team has been updated - with new content added!

The mod of choice in our recent RDLMS by Vesaro series, rFactor 2 content is in a better place these past few days thanks to a substantial new build release of the EnduRacers Endurance Series mod.

As well as adding an impressive list of fixes and improvements, not least of which is the implementation of the new rFactor 2 tyre model, the mod also benefits from quite a bit of new content in the form of the beautiful Ligier JSP3 LMP3 car (nice playmate for the recently announced Norma LMP3..?) and some great looking GTE specification machines alongside the classic Oreca 05 LMP2 open cockpit prototype.

It is worth noting that the Corvette C7R replaces the original C6R, the Ferrari F458 replaces the F430 and the Flat6 RSR Evo replaces the Flat6 RSR. The Oreca 05 LMP2 comes in place of the Lola Coupe and the Ligier LMP3 is a totally new class of car.

Available at no cost to the user, the version 2 build release of the Endurance Series modification can be found at the EnduRacers website HERE.

I feel the cars really good, no problem with rear, no problem with braking, very predictable every of them. I feel like old rf1 days being improved with this mod again.
Can a real life GTE lock their brakes? i didn't saw one do it, maybe it's really difficult, cause grip, but just a guess.

massive props to these guys, what a content packed mod. and visually possibly the best in RF2 including vanilla cars. THe ffb and handling i just don't feel as edgy or as nuanced as the s397 gt cars. (still better than most of the other so called sims however!) There possibly could be a reason for that i dunno. Having ran a few races with Ai at indy, i can confirm they do spin out a lot.

But great mod, and for being free in a day where modders want to be paid, well that goes a long way in my book. THey could of easily charged RSS prices here!

Much improved over past versions of this mod!

Sim experience is 99% AC 1% rF2... I knew I had to try this update. It had been quite a white since I fired up rF2, so I figured a good session was in order. I don't know if the changes mentioned in the change log are responsible for this, or maybe I just didn't notice, but the FFB felt wonderful at slow speeds - so much better than I'm used to with Assetto Corsa. I can feel the tires bite the pavement and the friction you'd expect to feel when cranking the wheel all the way to turn a car around. I have to thank rF2 because it inspired me to play with FFB in AC and I'm very happy with the changes I made there too.

I only have a DFGT (paddles, no clutch pedal, no external shifter). I was driving a Flat-6 car and I was pulling my hair out. At least half the time, maybe more, when I would downshift slightly aggressively my rear would lock and throw me sideways. The only way I could be guaranteed not to lock would be to get on the brakes and get the engine speed down to about 3000 RPM and then downshift. I can assure you, I wasn't downshifting into the red at all. I spent 45 minutes driving the C7.R Corvette GTE before the Flat-6 and I did not experience a single rear end lock.

Any idea what the heck I'm possibly doing wrong? I have auto-clutch engaged for when I drive manual transmission cars.

Oh, finally...is there a current list of the base cars that come with rF2? A friend was over and he downloaded some mods with my permission, but I can't tell what the heck are mods and what are base content. I'm not a fan of the rF2 UI at all. AC's UI sucks rocks too, but Content Manager for AC is a gift from the heavens.

Did you blip the throttle while shifting down? You have to, autoblip was turned off since that's not how the real car works.

Also, do you use the Steam Workshop? You can rather easily un-sub mods with it.

Also, on Steam, it should say who made it. If it was uploaded by ISI or S397, it's original content.

No, I didn't blip. I thought I turned it on, but I'm probably thinking of auto-clutch and confusing the auto-blip from AC. At least I know what's going on now, thank you.

I don't think you need auto clutch in the cup car? I could be wrong. But yeah that sounds like blipping. The c spec in iracing was the same.

Thx for this mod. Very nice combo when used with Le Mans 2017.
Only drawback so far is that I couldn't find a way to change the steering lock more than just 14 on the prototype cars I tried. Using a 900 degrees wheel, such low sl feels like driving a truck and makes fast reactions/turning very hard. Is there a way to make this change possible?

The update is amazing, I tried it yesterday at Sebring and really enjoyed it, thank you!

The only downside was that the Porsche volume while idle was very quiet. I'd say silent. Just a bit of rumble when turning the engine on, then silence. Very odd. Using cheap headphones, will try again tonight if I have some spare time but has anybody else noticed the same?
