Rally Results

Our next Rally is open for sign-up.

This one is very different to our usual Rally Club Event, and is based on a suggestion from one of our Rally Club members, Roy Magnes.

The theme for this Rally is Spanish, we drive a Spanish car and all stages are based in Spain using BTB Tracks. All Stages are tarmac, and wind their way through the spectacular scenery of Spain in their typical Mediterranean climate.
The Seat Ibiza is FWD but is quite stable to drive on tarmac.

Whilst I have tested each Stage off-line, I haven't tried them on-line. All are generally smooth and flowing, but there are some quirks of BTB Stages that need to be noted, if you have never driven BTB Stages.

1. Some of these Stages may take some time to load, be patient.

2. When the Stage has been driven, you may not be automatically returned back to RSCenter. This is common, so you will need to use Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) to close Richard Burns Rally.

3. You cannot watch replays using the TV camera. You can watch the replay using external chase view, or internal cockpit views. You cannot save replays and watch them later, replays can only be watched immediately after driving them.

DRIVER BRIEFING NOTES:

1. This car is a typical FWD, and has modest power, so it is quite stable to drive. It may be improved by moving the Brake Bias forward to stabilize heavy braking.

2. RBR Pacenotes are designed for default cars, Normal conditions and Good weather. Please remember to adjust your speeds to suit these cars. The Pacenotes on some BTB Stages may also be "less than accurate".

3. Tyre selections are the drivers responsibility. If you use the automatic tyre selection option in RSRBR2011, please beware that sometimes it may give you the wrong tyre for the conditions. Always double check your tyres, it is critical.

4. There seems to be a small bug in SS06, Cercados de Espino. You may receive an on-screen message of "Wrong way", just after the second hairpin (approx 3Kms). Just ignore it and continue on.

If requests are made for any additional timezones, or changes to Start times to better suit your local needs, we will try to include them ( but within the Monday/Tuesday periods).

Please note that Start Times now take into account DST adjustments around the world, including the Server time. Please check your local times.

Good luck all, and hope you enjoy the challenge of this very different Rally. If not, blame Roy. :D:D
