Rally - Historic Aussie Shootout - Monday 12th & Tuesday 13th March 2012

SS1: Good, I was not pushing at all, but donutted once when I tried to slide a bit :D Then I struggled in the forest, I lost grip when crossing the watter and hit some trees more than once.
SS2: Is it possible? I liked that stage! No major mistakes, but still slow. I am not pushing. And it works! But I am slow :D
SS3: Ruined my whole event :(:( I was faster than pace notes and went straight down the hill... brakes lost, I stopped the stage - the lose would be bigger than retirement time
SS4: I pushed like I do casually. 2x I was off the road - firstly it was question of 10 seconds to get back, but secondly it took at least 30 seconds. So I gained nothing :D BUt it was fun going 190 in the Volvo vagoon :D
SS5: Here I go again, classic. 2 bumps, 2 CFH. This car do nothing but lands on the roof only!
SS6: DNF, Flat out, amazing stage (I really was fast like hell itself!) but before the big jump I cut too much and went into a flight to the air hitting trees. Engine died.
SS7: I am in flat out mood - DNF again.
SS8: Went In Flames, like the metal band :D

So no revolution from my side. Still the old crasher. But I should have now 3 events scratched behind to be competitive in RDRC :p

Highlights:

SS2: Careful, slow and 400m before finish I spinned and got stuck in DRY GRASS-->cfh
SS3: Very good pace until 100m after start when I crashed to a tree--->retired + shortest stage I have ever driven
SS7: Spinning and a couple of CFH's
SS8: I don't know what happened but I found myself hugging a tree before split 1---> retired

Overall: 2nd in EUX and just under 13 minutes behind Fernando... not bad :D

I flew the car on SS3's big jump :D

I landed very hard and the bonnet opened up blocking my view by half the screen, so I drove very cautiously on this stage.

I've finally understood how these RWD cars behaves and how to properly handle them so everything went well for me on this rally, no major mistakes. I really had fun with the escort :).

Thanks all.

Aww.. :(

Seems like RSRBR 2012 located the cars in RSRBR 2011 so yesterday I had the cars. But when I deleted RSRBR 2011 just today, all the cars for the 2012 version was gone.. :(

Really wanted to do this, can I +1 Nigel's suggestion.

20:00GMT tomorrow.

SS1: Drove very good. But lost 10 seconds to Mark J! Woah! Was fastest on split 1, and lost 11 sec :p

SS2: Had a small spin, ended 10 sec behind Roy M this time!

SS3: 7.5 sec behind Martin Matus :p 2nd for third time! :p^

SS4: A spin, had to drive wrong way, spin again, get the revs high, and get going again. Fastest in session though!

SS5: Forgot the chicane, CFH. And woops, the rally win went out of the window!

SS6: Hahah, messy stage, and a very... uhm, new way to brake before the jump..

SS7: Retired.

SS8: Rolled. Retired.

Oh well, talk about not reaching my own goals... Better luck next time.

This was a disaster-rally for me. Two stages that went really well, and a huge number of CFH's and retirements even on the rest... Ding it!

Well...First Rally Club event and I was first in session! Think it was more out of luck than anything else though! Had 2 or 3 good stages, namely SS3 and SS6 (Mineshaft 1 and 2). Although wasn't fastest on either had massive fun and kept them clean. Was trying to keep them all clean but the last stage was atrocious! Wrong tyres and the car was all over the place, a few CFH's and a barrel roll! And SS7 was a bit of a hand full to control.

But it seams as with the real life sport, it all about luck! (which I know too much about!)

Thanks
