When I started playing GSCE I had micro stutter issues and checked the forums here and the first remedy to this problem in most threads that mentioned stutter was to turn off Race Time Scale in options and it worked to remove most of the stutter and combined with turning off special effects, gets rid of all stutter and is smooth as can be.
This is great in single player but it seems like about half the online servers have Time Scale enabled and it makes it a stuttering mess all over again since the setting is controlled by the server admin.
Has anyone ever figured out what actually causes the stutter and any other way to fix it instead of the work-arounds of turning off Time Scale and Special Effects?
