Race series must have ingame mods

After a clean install it was time to add some mods to this series...
Here's what i use to personalize my game ..

I had the XD Motec add on. But somehow I couldnt play online, I couldnt see the other cars on track. Took a while to figure out that it could have been a conflict with a mod. Removed XD Motec and voila, online working fine. Not sure what I did wrong... Maybe it isnt compatible with online.

That one is only required if you use the Race On UI. The others don't suffer from the overlap issue.

I play online with XD all the time. Works fine.

what are your experiences with it?

Hello, If you already have your FFB setting on low or medium then you might find it nice ... but if you have a strong FFB setting high or max, it will feel weird for you....

i use it on all three...Sims
there is info on doing it yourself... think its in GTlegends section

I use no-intro mod.

If you don't want to see hands on steering wheel and feet in cockpit, change this in your .plr file:

Arms Visible In Cockpit="0"
Driver Animations="0"
Disable All Character Anims="1"

My tweaked audio setup:

master volume 100
music volume 0
sound effects volume 25
engine volume 50
speech volume 31
other car volume 40
player car volume 50
tire scrub volume 10
skid volume 100
road noise volume 10

Try it with Mini f.e. and enjoy skid sound and no more annoying tire scrub. My soundcard settings are: volume 40 and wave 22 for my headphones.

Simply set "visible steering wheel" to off in the options menu, no need to edit the PLR file.

Edit: i just realised you want to keep the wheel but not the hands, so ignore my post.

It's easier to find the grip limits with scrub turned to max... It's not pretty sound but i can't drive without it, it's too often too late when you hear the skid.

It took me a long time to get it into my system, i started from 50% and gradually increased it.
