Protests

#1 Luka Oslakovic - Cyril Werdmuller - Lap 1 T7

Protest: Oslakovic Passes Werdmuller on inside of turn 7, Werdmuller stays alongside on outside, but Oslakovic doesn't leave him any space and Werdmuller has to back off to avoid a wall.

Review: With both cars alongside in turn 7, there is indeed no space for Werdmuller to continue alongside at the exit. Normally this would yield a penalty to Oslakovic, but due to the narrow nature of track, the lack of space was rather an unavoidable implication than driver fault (cf. Schumacher - Wurz 1998).

Verdict: Nothing

#2 Matheus Maia - Eros Masciulli - Anthony Jans - Lap 1 T11

Protest: Maia makes an insane divebomb without a chance of succes on Masciulli. He then notches Jans giving him "yellow" damage. Completely insame driving with absolutely no control of the car from Maia.

Review: Clearly a dangerous move from Maia, which this time did not result in bigger damage.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Maia.

#3 Martin Gosbee - Stefan Kanitz - Lap 4 T1

Protest: Gosbee after being off track gets up to speed again kanitz is comming with much higher speed and is about to pass gosbee, but then suddently gosbee weaves straight over in the front of kanitz nearly taking his front wing of. extremly dangorous maneuvere!

Review: As per article 6.2, a driver may block once per each straight. There was a speed difference between the two cars, but nothing that would have resulted in contact or an unavoidable incident.

Verdict: Nothing.

#4 Jean-Pascal Keller - Stefan Kanitz - Lap 26 T5

Protest: Keller have been driving very slow the past corners. in this case its obvious that kanitz is comming fast and that he will overtake. keller then turns into the line of kanitz very earlie and clearly to block kanits, so kanitz make contact and is out of race. a really unfair non-sportsmanship way of driving. dirty way of taking out opponents!

Review: The overtaking attempt of Kanitz starts a car-length behind Keller. As the director sees it, Keller is not aware of the move of Kanitz until the contact takes place. The turn-in positioning of Keller is similar as in the lap before in the same corner.

Verdict: Racing incident.

#5 Martin Gosbee - Eros Masciulli - Lap 35 T1

Protest: Gosbee bump into masciulli from the rear and make masciulli spin off the track loosing time and wear on the car. Completely insane driving of Gosbee!

Review: The server replay shows the car of Masciulli almost disappearing totally from seconds 2 to 6 on lap 35, due to lag. As the server replay is always the only replay to judge an incident, no blame can be put on Gosbee.

Verdict: Nothing.

#6 Matteo Vecchioni - Maurice Brackhahn - Lap 41 T1

Protest: Protest description: while Brackhahn is going to enter corner 1, Vecchioni tries a very dangerous and reckless overtaking while being two cars lenght behind, that resulting in leaving no space at all to Brackhahn to close the corner and in the crash which followed and which damaged his car.

Review: In the view of the director, the move of Vecchioni comes from a little too late and a little too behind in order to be clean. As there is 2+ car lengths of difference, Brackhahn is understandably not expecting an overtake. The braking of Vecchioni starts somewhat later too than on the previous laps.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Vecchioni

#7 Marko Vuori - Eros Masciulli - Lap 49 T19

Protest: Vuori dont respect blue flag, and end up causing masciulli crashing into the back of him. Not the first incident of this driver Vuori in this race!

Review: Unlike the protest states, Vuori acknowledges the blue flags by moving towards left for the start/finish straight. Unfortunately for the both, Masciulli is headed in the same direction, resulting in contact. The incident as a whole was rather unfortunate, but since Vuori was the one being lapped, a little more blame must be put on him.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Vuori.

#8 Cyril Werdmuller - Eros Masciulli - Lap 61 T13

Protest: Werdmuller who is not pass masciulli try to push himself up the inside of masciulli approaching swimmingpool complex. When he is not more up the side than this, this is a completely outragoues overtaking attempt, and on a very risky amd stupid place on the track. If werdmuller was more up the side of masciulli then masciulli should have moved, BUT werdmuller was NOT that much up the side. And comming with the speed he did there would never be enough room left for Masciulli to "survive" in......

Review: Both drivers are to blame somewhat. Masciulli could have turned in a tad later, being aware that Werdmuller is partly alongside. The corner is, however, narrow, and Werdmuller, while being slightly behind Masciulli, should have realized that there wasn't enough space for two cars to enter alongside.

Verdict: 0.5 penalty points to Werdmuller.
