Despite all the controversy about the different vehicles used, I feel that the guys driving the Volvo's did a good job to set such consistent lap times well done!. "If you cannot pass the so called slower vehicles, then you deserve to be where you are." I personally found it very difficult to pass them, but it made for very exciting racing. None of the Volvo drivers that I raced against drove reckless, so all is good, lets just get back on the track and race, see you guys track side.

Aaron no problem with turn 10 those things happen, my momentum kept on pushing me into your car as well.

Thanks to the organisers good event.
Cheers

A few minutes before qually my gas pedal stopped working and I only have two pedals. Took it to bits but needs a new sensor. I tried using button but I was not very good and lost a second a lap.

Race 1: pulled over a lot to record some live action (live fraps recording of other cars).
Race 2: Pulled over to the far right to let that Volvo past that I hit and wasted my suspension on that bit of the pit wall sticking out....
NOTE: From video timing 2:19 is just my onboard and is only good for seeing the car positions and my fun with Jorge. I will do a part two if I get time showing the overtakes apparent on the leader board. If I do a part two I will avoid showing crashes if I can and find some good racing. Any video I put on the post your movies section will show mostly racing and few crashing.

PS Jag MKII's and big Ford Galaxy's used to race with Mini's back in the day:

PPS Crystal Palace is available:

In the black and white video above the Camaro is faster than the Escort on the straight and holds him up in the corners. This is an analogy of the retro cool Amazon vs Mini. I can appreciate it is frustraiting to be held up by a car that is slower in the corners but out drags you on the straight. Mini drivers just need to be patient and jump on any mistakes and make sure their exit speeds are maximum to avoid being overtaking.

On some circuits I think the Mini should have 20 or 40 Kg weight penalty. That may help with the massive braking differences. Either that or avoid circuits with heavy braking corners (Monza etc).

When you have signed up we expect you to be there, if for any reason you can not make it you can sign out 1 hour prior till the practice starts, otherwise you will be reported as a no-show.
You can not sign up as a maybe, you are there or you are not, we will not reserve grid places for people that might be there, we rather give them to people that will be there.

At the moment qualification starts and not all places are taken reserves can go into the server.

Thanks Remco, managed a few laps - but lag got the better of me :(

Sorry to those who were closeby, I guess I must have been disappearing and reappearing.
Driving was fine, but I could see the server sync message pop up at top of screen a couple of times, with the gap to front/behind going bananas just before.

No idea what's causing it tonight, once again soz to those affected.
I thought I'd best leave the server asap before spoiling more people's race.

Very dissapointed, i had 6 stop&go's .... this track is buggy as hell.

then we had "Jim Stiaus" or something on teamspeak, for half of the race he was constantly breathing/blowing in his mic distracting alot of us, unfortnatly we couldn't mute him as we're racing, next time get your mic checked Jim.
