F1 2010 Question About Online Racing and Mods

I'm going to be buying F1 2010 on the PC and I have a question:

When you install the mods what happens when you then go online, having them installed will it cause problems or will you have to disable each mod before going online.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but not having the game yet I just wanted to know before hand.

the mods work just fine, but make sure you use the save fix patch too..
