edit your hardware_settings_config.xml file and put this line in
<track_info_system type="gpu" />

So your last two lines should read:

<track_info_system type="gpu" />
</hardware_settings_config>

Puddles are back for all!!

Working for me also, although it cuts my FPS in half. I think what they did with this line is shift over som,e weather calculations to the Gpu instead of CPU, removing that line instantly gives me 20-25 fps on benchmark

Cool it works! I got my puddles back omg :D

Now only 2 problems still with Dx11, when I start the game it is in window mod (the little window you know) I get it in full with ALT+Enter, I know. But this need a fix too aaaannnddd after I start the game it looks very dark. I push back Gamma from 8 to 7 and back to 8 and then the gamma is normal. Why this is so??

I have the same problem with DX11, along with drastically reduced framerates after the puddle fix.
Only fix I found was to force the game to run in DX9.
I now have puddles, full screen and much better frame rates.
