Problem in rFactor

  1. Hi, I'm doing a track to rFactor but I have a problem when I load in rFactor. Appears a windows saying "gMotor 2 : Error loading texture nuevo_23 for material roada397"

    So, I want to know what is the problematic texture, how I can find? Or... how I can solve this error message?

    theres atexture missing from either your MAS file (if you have one), or jst missing from your track folder.

    The file is Nuevo_23.dds(or bmp, or tga)

    Roada397.gmt being the file requesting that texture.
  3. also, it could be that the texture is not to the power of two, that is 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 etc.
  4. Don't exist the file "roada397.gmt"

    Also I have changed the resolution of the texture, it was 387x420, and I made multiple by 4, and after by 8. But only achieved more % loading... So at the first time it interrupt at the 5% +/-, now at the 25%...

    And I have a similar problem say... "Error loading texture nuevo_23 for material roada287" before said roada397

    PD: The resolution of texture can be change after exporting from BTB or need to do before import in BTB from Xpack?

    better doing it in the xpack, or it means you having to manually change them after every time you export a new version of your track.
  6. For rFactor, the texture sizes need to be 2x2, 4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, 2048x2048, etc, etc. (although there is no point going over 2048, it is just too big.)
    They do not have to be square, they can also be rectangle ie, 128x1024, 256x512. as long as height and width is one of those numbers, you will be fine.
