PLR file changes not taking effect in game

I recently purchased rFactor and have been reading through some of the setup guides to help with the game play realism. I have modified several things in my PLR file and none of them are taking effect in game. The biggest thing I need to change is the annoying shaking of the cockpit camera.

Does anyone know why these changes to the PLR file are not affecting anything in the game? All I have done is download the WTM mod and a few more cars and tracks. Anybody know the secret?

Make sure you don't have 2 plr files and your editing the wrong one
