Pit stops and safety car

    If I pit under safety cat conditionts, will this count as a mandatory stop for tyres?

    The only mandatory requirement is that you use both compounds (assuming it's dry), it doesn't matter when the stop is made.

    Safety cat? I think the race would be friggin' awesome with a giant Mountain Lion bounding ahead of the lead car. Beats the Merc SLS anyday.

    I've only seen the safety car once in Abu D when the pylon bug resulted in only 11 cars finishing, but at least I got to drive behind the safety car.
