Physical (wheel and seat) setup question

Hello to everyone.

My pedals have broken again and I'm unable to sim race for now. :frown: This has made me long for hitting the track. Thinking about my pedals got me thinking about my poor set up that I run and this made me think of you guys here at RD.

I was just curious to know how many people have a proper racing seat to sim race in or what kind of set up most people use.
As for me I simply have my wheel latched onto my computer desk, my pedals sit against the wall, and I sit in a wooden chair.
This isn't ideal because it isn't at all comfortable and forces me to sit in an unnatural position. I imagine this affects my lap times a bit with improper pedal leverage and general fatigue during long usage.

There is no way I could afford a good rig any time soon. Even if I could afford one though I don't imagine my significant other would approve of buying one.

Anyway, this has sparked my curiosity. What kind of rig are all you out there using?
