R Sperafico dies in carcrash interlagos

26 year old R.Sperafico has been kild in a crash during a stock car race on the brazilian interlagos circuit.
Sperafico who died almost instant from cardiac arrest whas an ex champ-car driver.

Sad, but it's part of motorsport. We can only be glad that he's one of the few nowadays. I read an interview with, I think it was Emerson Fittipaldi, who recalled feeling like he was "driving with ghosts" all the time: "you could only guess who was going to be next..."

A new beast is born

This would be a great looking car on the circuit.
But as with all beautyfull Cars.....it`s a concept car.
This is the Mazda Furai concept car.
There are plans to take this car to the circuits in de LM serie`s.

The car has a topspeed of 300 km/h and has a R20B rotation engine with 3 !! rotators that produce`s 450 BHP.

With designing this car they used Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to get the max aerodynamics components
The car is only 110cm high and 205cm wide.
The "Furai" runs on E100 fuel (100% ethanol).
The race eletronics is done by Motec as is the Data acquisitie.

Well, i for one would love to see this on the race tracks.
