Patch Announcement by Codemasters

Hi all,

We're going to be using this sticky thread to keep you updated with regards the latest game patching status. We'll keep it updated whenever we get new information.


Patch 1 - During the game submission process for F1 2011 the team continued to work on the game, refining, polishing and tweaking and those updates were included in the patch released as follows:

PS3 Status - Released

Xbox 360 Status - Patch has now passed submission, we are now waiting for a confirmed release date.

PC Status - Patch has now passed submission, due for release at approx 10pm GMT on 4th Oct

Patch 2 - The Dev team and QA are currently investigating a number of issues reported by players and trying to reproduce these in a test environment.


Please continue to submit your feedback about any game issues you find in our Tech & Game Support Forums being as thorough as you can possibly be. We're constantly passing on this feedback to the development/QA teams for investigation and review. Your input is much appreciated and of great help, thank you!

HI....i write there because a question torments me..... The patch decrease the speed of AI ??? I play AI legend.

i say this because first race in malbourne i start 15th and i finish 8th place (20% race. TC Medium NO ABS, ALL simulation).
In malesya after apply the patch i qualified in 3rd place -.-" In front of me was KOBASHASHI AND BARRICHELLO -.-"
Massa win the race and i finish 7th.

And now the surprise. With heavy rain in Shangai i win -.-" i start 17th and in 4 laps was rear Button first.

I am now currently playing in Turkey. In practice i close 1st with 1.27.038 ......another ----> -.-"

WTF is normal? or im unexpectedly fast???? -.-"

The game really has alot of problems i got a black screen after leaving the pitlane in KOREA. And i have noticed that names of drivers such as Kovalinen / Trulli wins races ... all the other "strong" teams left behind... something really goes crazy here ...

He he.Let's say the inevitable truth.
The game wasn't ready to be released.We paid for it just to be the CM's beta testers.

I already had 3 black screens - 1 in spa GP mode and 2 in shanghai. The last one happened on lap 27/28 of 50% career race in shanghai (wet race)
