New Graphics Card

I dunno how I've managed it but ive managed to get the Mrs agree to me spending £300 on a new GTX 970 G1 to replace my ageing GTX 460 SLI setup. My questin is this, would it be worth keeping on of the 460's to use as a dedicated PhysX card?
The 460's are both Gigabyte cards ones a superclock version the others the Oc 2 version.
Anybody here done a similar upgrade? To be honest my 460's have (& continue) to serve me well but I've not upgraded for a while & I feel the need......for speed!

It is not really worth keeping one of the GTX 460s IMO. Aside from so few games supporting PhysX, the GTX 970 should be quite able to handle it.

If you want to try there is nothing stopping you from running benchmarks & observing power drawn from the wall. If you do please post results.
