Just heard this on the news...

Sad day. A brilliant man and what a fantastic and literally out of this world achievement... the first human being to set foot on the moon, our constant companion.

And those words will be with us till the world ends.

Very very sad news...

He has had an amazing life. I pray his step on the moon was only a tiny step on the journey that lies ahead of him. I hope his spirit can travel to the far reaches of the universe and beyond and that he can somehow step foot on other planets/structures that would grant him eternal peace.

He has made his mark, both here on Earth and on the moon. He helped humankind to get a little closer to the stars, and see that our moon, while still a cold, airless and alien world, is not entirely out of reach...

I think it goes without saying that he will be remembered for far more than generations to come.

If I had a hat, Mr. Armstrong, I'd take it off.
