I turned a hydraulic valve control into a diy h pattern shifter. It's kind of ghetto but it works!
The 3-position detent mechanism is built into the hydraulic valve control unit. This is the unit I bought for this project https://summit-hydraulics.com/product/monoblock-hydraulic-directional-control-valve-1-spool-11-gpm/.Oh, that is in an interesting idea? Could you share a few more details/pics? I think I can hear what sounds like some kind of detent mechanism in the video, is that part of the valve or something you engineered?
Yes, the frame is made of 4040 and 2020 series aluminum profile. If it works and you like it, fantastic! I'm on my third version, but none have been bad, they all did the job they were supposed to do, like your one is clearly doing!
Is that the extrusion they use for 3D printers that you used for a frame?
