Maya Support for Xpacker

  1. Hi Brendan,

    Just wondering if it was possible to allow Maya Objects to be imported in to the Xpacker and then used in BTB. You already use Collida and 3dsmax.

    Reason I ask is that ive used COD4 mapping tools and find that they are great for knocking up quick easy structures and have a lot of textures and other objects that could be included. This program has a Maya Format Export option.

    Whats your thoughts on this?

  2. Maya is not supported directly however, you could export to Maya
    & then export to collada from Maya with the ColladaMaya plugin & then into xpacker.
    Thats assuming you have Maya??

    Does it export into any other formats??

  4. Nah i dont have collada or Maya, but 3ds max.

    Ill keep hunting for a conversion plugin for 3ds max which allows maya files. If i find something that works ill post it up here.
