So the quick set up's are quite good but containing only standard!
I tested the last 2 days only, mainly in Singapur.Und I'm pretty well on my opinion, 1:41.842 with Ferarri. (Rang/147)
I am an unofficial time of 1:41.141 also drove Ferarri.

So my time is real and I am glad that I myself have not had such errors.
I hope this a good set up, but man must always involve your riding Steal!
I hope I could help and I will of course continue to work to deliver results!
    Have fun testing.)
    PS / I have been playing with the X-Box 360 :)

  2. Doesn't work with Force India :/

  3. This setup doesn´t work !

  4. Could you guys please elaborate on what 'doesn't work'? Is it the top speed? not enough downforce? Too twitchy on the kerbs? By providing a little more details it might be possible for others to improve the setup and make it work :)

I haven't tried out any setup for this track yet, but the track layout seems like it could use a setup like monaco.. don't take my word for it tho, when it comes to setting up cars i'm still quite the noob, as I've noticed after trying some other setups posted by the more experienced guys over here ;)

  5. I've not tested it yet but I would say the gears are set to high with the high downforce

  6. This is my setup so far:

    Aero Dynamics:
    Front Wing Angle: 8
    Rear Wing Angle: 6

    Braking

    Balance: F 50% - 50% R
    Pressure: High
    Brake Size: Standard

    Balance

    Ballast Distribution: F 60% - 40% R
    Front anti-roll bar: 6
    Rear anti-roll bar: 9

    suspension

    Front Ride Height: 3
    Rear Ride Height: 3
    Front Spring Stiffness: 6
    Rear Spring Stiffness: 7

    gearbox

    Gear 1: 140 kph /
    Gear 2: 172 kph /
    Gear 3: 203 kph /
    Gear 4: 235 kph /
    Gear 5: 269 kph /
    Gear 6: 304 kph /
    Gear 7: 347 kph /

    Engine

    Throttle map: Standard
    Fuel: N / A

    Alignment

    Camber front: -1.50
    Camber rear: -3.50
    Toe Front: 0.15
    Rear Toe: 0.50 .

Managed a 1:41:301 in a red bull (PS3 using G25, used the racing line cuz i don't know the track yet but no other assists). It's not among fastest on the board but that's probably more because of me then because of a bad setup ;)

I raised the ride height a little to get over the curbs more easily, and decreased gear ratio because of the short straights, as well as some other minor changes. I'm gonna have a go at budapest tonight, i think I'm starting to like a time trial mode in a game for the 1st time lol :)

  7. ive ran a 1:39.4 stock setup :S ill be waiting for a setup that can do 138's. Enjoy all the other setups though

  8. Setup I Use:

    Aero Dynamics:
    Front Wing Angle: 1
    Rear Wing Angle: 1

    Braking

    Balance: F 48% - 52% R
    Pressure: High
    Brake Size: Small

    Balance

    Ballast Distribution: F 40% - 60% R
    Front anti-roll bar: 8
    Rear anti-roll bar: 8

    suspension

    Rear Ride Height: 1
    Front Spring Stiffness: 11
    Rear Spring Stiffness: 6

    gearbox

    Gear 1: 147 kph /
    Gear 2: 179 kph /
    Gear 3: 211 kph /
    Gear 4: 252 kph /
    Gear 5: 298 kph /
    Gear 6: 332 kph /
    Gear 7: 377 kph /

    Engine

    Throttle map: Fast
    Fuel: N / A

    Alignment

    Camber front: -1.50
    Camber rear: -3.50
    Toe Front: 0.15
    Rear Toe: 0.32 .

I dith 1:39:1 With Farari You Can do 1:37 With It with Mclaren i tink

Btw Im Driving Automatic With Full TC and Abs

Update: New Time With Mclaren 1:38.555

  9. Good Setup. My time is 1.37.4 with only a few differences.

Lower top speed, nearly no camber rear. Ride height 1 both en front suspension 9 en rear suspension 6.
    Lots of trackion :)

  10. those are blistering times a can only manage a 1:41:7 and thats me going hard but im not the strongest driver on games

  11. these are the worset set ups ever i suggest ypou guys never share them again cos they are absolute rubbish

  12. Here's the setup I used in my career (1st season, Lotus):

    Aerodynamics
    Front Wing Angle: 8
    Rear Wing Angle: 6
    Braking
    Balance: F 50% - R 50%
    Pressure: High
    Brake Size: N/A
    Balance
    Ballast Distribution: F 50% - R 50%
    Front Anti-roll Bar: 4
    Rear Anti-roll Bar: 10
    Suspension
    Front Ride Height: 2
    Rear Ride Height: 2
    Front Spring Stiffness: 5
    Rear Spring Stiffness: 5
    Gearbox
    Gear 1: 137 kph / xxx mph
    Gear 2: 167 kph / xxx mph
    Gear 3: 197 kph / xxx mph
    Gear 4: 226 kph / xxx mph
    Gear 5: 257 kph / xxx mph
    Gear 6: 287 kph / xxx mph
    Gear 7: 322 kph / xxx mph
    Engine
    Throttle map: Fast
    Fuel: Fixed
    Alignment
    Camber front: -1.50
    Camber rear: -3.20
    Toe front: 0.15
    Toe rear: 0.50
This got me pole on Professional difficulty (high 1:47). I'm sure many of you could do better, as I'm not the greatest race driver, but the car feels good to drive. Maybe you could mess with the gearing a little, as with this you take the last corner in the low 5th, so acceleration out of it is not great, but I haven't noticed any other issues. Except the curbs. The curbs here are made of concentrated primordial evil.

  13. lap times in this game are faked, the real lap in Marina Bay was 1'45' by Alonso, the developer should fix this in the patch

  14. Thats right, the real lap in Marina Bay was 1'45' by Alonso. Wait until there is a fix for this. I am new to this game on PS3 but I follow Formula for the past 10 years.

  15. Plus I find it weird that so many really different setup adjustments can give around the same best lap time. I mean, all the way up vs all the way down on height, wings, springs, anti rollbar, should have some impact on lap times despite the driving style. As it is, it seems that anything works for this track.

  16. think i found my worst track so struggling have tried all setups plus twitched and none but DavorM's works okay and thats jus ok using lotus and in career mode argh hate this track lol o well practice makes perfect i suppose.

  17. Tried lots of different setups too and I mean LOTS. Nothing works for my Virgin on Career mode as well. Not even DavorM's. But again, I'm hating street circuits with a KB in this particular game.

Well, here's what got me 1:47.500 sharp with the Virgin on KB, at Qualifying (pole atm). Could've done a lot better with a wheel, I suppose. (1:45.4 with option tires, 1:46.8 at the race with prime tires after the pit)

  18. k i've come up with a setup on ps3 using a controller hard as hell with the lotus used DavorM's setup as a template and my time was 1:49.287 yes i know its not really fast but its the best time i can get so far with this setup and the car seems to handle better. See wat u think let me know pls:

  20. So i try to give some small Tips for this Course and how i managed this time.

With my Setup u will be able to get some Advance from cutting some Curbs for e.g. the small Shicane and the Curbs of some wide spreaded Curves.

On this Track u need to get some Breaking energy into some Curves so its nessesary to get your Braking-Balance to the Heck. So u will be able to steer into the Curves right when u are Breakin. This works on some other Courses like Monza aswell.

So try out wich Curbs u can hit and which not. Some give u advance in Steeering into/out of Curves and some (mostly in the Hard edged Curves) will make u spin out.

Take ure Time to Train on the Tracks and to find best Setups and u will be able to own the whole Season even on Legend Mode and with the slowest Cars. (Best is to get u on Pole and then u will be the Man who finishes on Place 1!)

    Cheers
