It must be mentioned that some of the new (and not so new) licenses have actually been secured by the excellent work of one of the WMD members. That's WMD & Project C.A.R.S.* at work - pretty rad... :D

^ Great! I think your posting is fine as it is (unless you specifically would like to see the full list in the first posting, of course). It and the first posting will stay on page 1 of the thread and together they form a complete list as of now :)

Test Drive 2 had a fantastic array of island paradise scenery with some great roads and vast area's with beautiful vista's. The driving model was not upto sim standards though. We need better physics and FFB before licenced tracks. I would rather the fidelity of RF2 and 3 tracks than what we have now and an abundance of pretty tracks. Just my opinion of course.

Although I do welcome Cadwell Park. I regularly do track days there. Infact I am there this week. ;)

Of course as we all know track artists are the same as FFB programmers!

Agreed. I used my considerable influence with Andy Garton to instruct him to train the producer who is working on car and track licensing to write code so that he can get in AJ and Casey's way as they work on the physics engine. Everyone also agrees that the graphics are far too good right now, so Griff and the asset artists are shifting over to physics. We all know that throwing more people at a discreet feature works exactly the same as howler monkeys flinging their poo at the humans staring at them, which is to say, it's awesome!

With all the track and car artists now working on the physics the physics programmers are now taking over the art department, and the cars are not looking bad.
