Are some examples of different landscapes for BTB?

I think it would be very usefull to have a simple landscape that is flat with at the horizon trees.

a bit like the image here, but without the closest line of trees.

  2. If I were making a track with terrain like you've pictured, I'd be using some big polygons and ending them well off track, next to the edge of the skybox (which is where the very distant items on the horizon are portrayed, like a stage).

The trees closer to the camera help you perceive depth as they'll appear to shift against the backdrop of the skybox. If trees were out of the question, then I'd stick something like a tractor or cow or horse out there.

I don't know exactly what you mean, but let me show you a map of my track.

I know that there are some landscapes with mountains, like the scenery_shepherds or _harwood or _falstone. They can be found in the Great Britain pack (Objects/landscapes).

Do you mean i extent the surrounding terrain and add at the borders some bushes, trees and so on?
