    Are you sure this is a race setup and not a qualy setup?
     
  3. There is no meaning of setting the front right height to 2 and rear to 1. In real F1 it never happens, furthermore the physics of this game are a bit funny, so i believe even for a full race with so much fuel the best settings are 1-1!

  6. Yea it was like people were obsessing over the bugs and taking it out on me for using one, instead of just enjoying the game.

    Oh well, fixed now, time to move on and have fun. :p

  7. i use force india in career and this is a realy bad setup :mad: , car just wants to understeer far to much and the gearing is all over the shop for my liking. i changed the arb from 2 to 1.i am willing to improve the setup but may take a few days. fastest lap i got was a 1:37.017 with Most assists off with exeption of tcs which is set to MEDIUM.

    i dont mean to offend the original poster but that is my feedback

  9. Yes it does, all the new posts I am making have been done after Patch 2, the one which fixes many bugs including the 11-11 suspension bug.

  12. Yea I do use assists. TC, ABS and auto gears, I am quick but not as talented as some when it comes to using no assists.

    That is just how I play.

  15. Just busted a 126.912 in McLaren with G27, ABS, Manual Gears, Traction Control FULL.... seems on par with the set-up above, just need more laps to make it all smooth in one lap

    Hey everyone - 2nd setup posted here on racedepartment. Even though I didn't use setups with the 11/11 bug prior to the patch, I've really struggled to come to terms with the new physics model and trying to adapt my setups from where they were at. I've felt like my car has way too much roll in it. Without traction control the car seemed to break free on me through mid-to-high speed corners, so I'm still trying to find the right balance between aero and suspension. That being said, I've decided to just start from scratch with everything and here's my "rough" Malaysia set-up. Still think there's time to be found and with gear ratios being one of my weakest points, definitely some fine tuning needed.

    Times were set in P1 of a long race weekend with full simulation settings and NO assists, AI on Legend.

  19. That was my first time running in Malasya, and following this two setups above.
    Time Trial, using :
    Abs: ON
    Traction Control: Full
    GearBox: Manual - using RT/LT to shift.
    Steer using: digital direction
    Time: 1:28:841

    Comments
    Its possible get 1:27:9 with this setup.
    The big trick in this setup ´s the change made in gear 6, important to take the curve number 4 without shift to 7th gear.
