GT5 How to share user created tracks?

The tracks created with the track editor are they for private use only or is there a way to share them with the rest of the community?

If they're anything like cars, photos, etc, then they'll have a menu option to 'share with friends'. I assume setting that to On allows people on your friends list to see it on your home page and download it. Don't quote me on that though, because I haven't tried it yet.
