F1 2011 How to increase FPS

I think there is a way to increase significant FPS if we could remove the mirrors of the car.


The mirros reflections are on if in graphic options whe change vehicle reflections to medium high or Ultra. If we set it to low, mirrors reflections are off but i lose either the beautiful reflections of the track on car body...


i just want to turn off mirrors reflections but mantain the reflections on the body of the car.


i managed to tweak the file "hardware_settings_config.xml":
there is this lines:




<envmap faces="6" size="256" forceBilinear="true" />
(the "envmap faces" is for vehicle reflection in body.)


<mirrors enabled="true" forceBilinear="true" width="256" height="64" car_maxlod="4" car_culldist="100.0" />


soo, i only changed the second line to (mirrors enabled="false") but mirrors still works :S


Hope i can get some help here...
i would like to mantain vehicle reflections but turn off mirrors
Any ideas?
