    TZ2 low.jpg Hi friends

    I've always liked the Alfa TZ2, I have this car in my AC, it runs more or less well, but when I race against others or watching replays I see that it's much too low for a car of that period !!!

    I'd like to rise it a few cm. (without touching the physics, only optically) Which file must I edit to do this?

    Thanks a lot boys [IMG]

    Try to edit suspension file:

    TYPE=DWB
    BASEY=-0.1580 ; Distance of CG from the center of the wheel in meters. Front Wheel Radius+BASEY=front CoG. Actual CG height =(FWR+FBasey)+(RWR+Rbasey))/CG_LOCATION%
    TRACK=1.564 ; Track width in meters (from pivot 3D placement of the 3d model of a wheel)
    ROD_LENGTH=0.100 ; push rod length in meters. positive raises ride height, negative lowers ride height.
    HUB_MASS=70 ; masse sospese anteriori
    RIM_OFFSET=0.040
    WBCAR_TOP_FRONT=0.35527, 0.12822, 0.16928
    WBCAR_TOP_REAR=0.35342, 0.10477, -0.09789
    WBCAR_BOTTOM_FRONT=0.49552, -0.1565, 0.27332
    WBCAR_BOTTOM_REAR=0.49826, -0.15254, -0.06986
    WBTYRE_TOP=0.15473, 0.13688, -0.02858
    WBTYRE_BOTTOM=0.09329, -0.14233, 0.00612
    WBCAR_STEER=0.46037, -0.0358, 0.13961
    WBTYRE_STEER=0.09455, -0.0166, 0.14749
    TOE_OUT=0.00005
    STATIC_CAMBER=-1.7
    SPRING_RATE=70500 ; Wheel rate stifness in Nm. Do not use spring value but calculate wheel rate
    PROGRESSIVE_SPRING_RATE=0 ; progressive spring rate in N/m/m
    BUMP_STOP_RATE=95000 ; bump stop spring rate
    BUMPSTOP_UP=0.060 ; meters to upper bumpstop from the 0 design of the suspension
    BUMPSTOP_DN=0.060 ; meters to bottom bumpstop from the 0 design of the suspension
    PACKER_RANGE=0.110 ; Total suspension movement range, before hitting packers
    DAMP_BUMP=6500 ; Damper wheel rate stifness in N sec/m in compression
    DAMP_FAST_BUMP=2300
    DAMP_FAST_BUMPTHRESHOLD=0.070
    DAMP_REBOUND=7000 ; Damper wheel rate stifness in N sec/m in rebound
    DAMP_FAST_REBOUND=3100
    DAMP_FAST_REBOUNDTHRESHOLD=0.120

    I'm not sure anyway :)

    Any changes you make to the suspension.ini file WILL affect the physics.

    go in the data folder, open the car.ini file, you will see:
    [BASIC]
    GRAPHICS_OFFSET=0,-0.26,-0.1 ; 3 axis correction (x,y,z), applies only to the 3D object of the car (meters)
    the second number will raise or lower the car body in relation to the wheels without affecting the physic of the car.

    And it's in meters. So to rise the car for e.g. (optically) 4cm you have change the value (frome the quote above) from -0.26 to -0.22.

    Data/car.ini/GRAPHICS_PITCH_ROTATION=0.15 ; changes 3D object rotation

    Since that by trying to raise the rear you will lower the front as the 3d object will pivot, you might have to raise the whole 3D object again, but you know the drill now.:D

    Thanks Cote d'Azur, is much better now !!!
    TZ2 final.jpg
    Finally I use this
    [BASIC]
    GRAPHICS_OFFSET=0,-0.210,-0.685
    GRAPHICS_PITCH_ROTATION=-0.40

    Did you model this?? It looks lovely, though could look better with some shader tweaks and AO.

    Unfortunately no, I don't know how to do that ... as I said before, I got that car from Assettoland,
    lots of interesting cars there (you must register)
    https://assettocorsa-land.wixsite.com/assettoland
    for instance ... (sorry, I like classics ...)
