Hassle free single player content?

I was thinking getting the rFactor 2 mostly for single player championship etc. to play oflline but then I found some youtube video from 2018 that states that the premade "Include race events" wouldn't work.

Is this true or is there any hassle free single player content available? The developer says on the steam description "rich single-player experience" but that doesen't tell me anything.

GEC on LeMans & Sebring works well for me. So far no experience with other combos.
