At the moment this should be filed under 'rumour' despite some sites saying its been confirmed that there will be a track editor in GT5. Apparently it will allow existing tracks to be edited and completely new tracks created but until I hear it from Kazunori Yamauchi then I'm a little sceptical. E4G has followed up on the story from another web-site earlier today and is claiming to have official confirmation from Polyphony:
