rapidough submitted a new resource:

GT5-like Neck FX - Awfully simple Gran Turismo 5-like Neck FX.

Very, very simple Neck FX settings that somewhat replicate what the 'Driver's eye' camera looks and feels like in Gran Turismo 5. The signature head tilt upwards and downwards upon acceleration and deceleration is captured in this Neck FX quite well--maybe a little bit exaggerated compared to the actual game.

This exaggeration, however, was intended to compensate for the absence of the effect in the actual Gran Turismo 5 game where the camera shakes intensely depending on how fast the car...

Turned it into an actual .ini file for easy installation.

Rookie mistake. I uploaded the Neck FX preset as a .txt file instead as a .ini file. Sorry for inconveinence.

Please redownload, XD. I made a mistake of uploading the mod as a text document instead of a .ini file.

To apply it, simply drop and drag the .ini file onto Content Manager and viola.

Could this be installed in a way that doesn't override settings for other extensions? Just did the drag-and-drop method and suddenly a bunch of options I had on elsewhere like Car Instruments changed drastically.

Updated the.ini as to ONLY apply the settings to the Neck FX extension and not to other extensions. Another rookie mistake. I apologize to everyone who has had their settings changed and that have not been saved.

I immediately fixed this as soon as I saw this message, IDK how I did not fix this first hand. Redownload the mod, I have updated it. You can now drag and drop the .ini without your settings in other extensions being changed. Huge apologies for the people who got their settings changed and did not have a backup.

Completely overhauled the .ini for easier installation. Also adjusted some settings for it to be more accurate to the original game.

Adjusted settings to emulate the actual game more.

As the title says, I again adjusted some parameters for it to behave more like the GT5 interior cam. The previous edit, through careful observation, looked a bit too stiff and static. This will feel more natural and more accurate to the actual game of Gran Turismo 5.
