Minardi domination in Barcelona
A perfect day for the Minardi team, securing a 1-2 with Goddard taking his 2nd win this season, and Rinneaho in 2nd. Kederer completed the podium in 3rd.
Buurlage converted his pole in an early lead, and thanks to a slow because heavy fueled Hunsley he could pull out a small gap in the opening laps. The Brit struggled, and after having been passed by Kederer, Goddard and Lintner he lost it at the exit of turn 3, spinning off and taking Brugman with him. They both could continue, though now at the end of the field. Bad day for McLaren, as teammate Laad had retired the lap before with a suspension failure. Further down the grid Rinneaho and Martins had some great first laps, both found themselves up in the top 10 by lap 10. Keranen was running in 6th, when 2 mistakes within a few laps sent him to the end of the field. Harvey marked the second retirement of the race, an oil leak stopped him when running in 7th. At the front Goddard had managed to take 2nd from Kederer, and went on to chase Buurlage.
First pitstops came, Buurlage kept the lead ahead of Heymans, who was yet to stop. Big mistake by Buurlage then, spinning off the track and dropping all the way down to 18th. Heymans inherited the lead for a few laps, before he made his stop. Goddard then took the lead, followed by Kederer, Rinneaho and Lintner. Noack was in 5th, but he too made his one and only stops a few laps after Heymans. Said and Martins were battling for 6th (5th after Heymans' stop), a few seconds behind them were Utzer and Reed.
Final stops came, and the top 5 all kept their positions. Heymans got up to 6th right behind Martins, but couldn't enjoy it for long as he retired with a water leak. Said got 6th back, ahead of Utzer and Reed. The Australian couldn't hold on to it though, he got passed by Noack. The gaps at the front were close after the stops, only 3 seconds separating the top 3. Goddard however went on to pull away from Kederer, who got passed by Rinneaho a couple of laps later. Buurlage couldn't recover from his spin, he finished 10th in the end, right behind Noack and Reed.

FIA Press Conference
@Mane Goddard @TTupsi: A fantastic result for the team, handing you the lead in both championships. Were will it go from here on?
@Márk Lintner: Another solid result, will we see you on the podium soon?

Market is open!

mercenaries
Frustrating to have the speed yet again and retirement hits, again.
We'll go for +5 race skill and cross our fingers for next round.

saving? notifications have ceased for this, much like forum racing's have... :'(
(how many warnings do we get?)
4 warnings = kicked. 3rd post has warnings overview.

About notifications: you reply to a thread -> you now watch it (watched threads, those with unread messages). Someone else replies to it, you get an alert. If you don't read the new reply, you won't get any further alerts for that thread (except for tags), until you have read all the messages posted after your last post.
I'm pretty sure alerts do work, you just didn't read the new messages once, then no longer got any alert thus assumed alerts are broken.
