As the Hungarian Grand Prix approaches, various GP2 outfits have announced driver changes for the remainder of the season.

Adrian Quaife-Hobbs will be moving to replace Robin Frijns over at Hilmer Motorsport. Quaife-Hobbs will join fellow Briton Jon Lancaster, the German based team currently sit 4th.

Currently a test driver at Sauber F1, Frijns has been driving in GP2 for only half a season after a number of years in Formula Renault, Formula 3 and GP3. Frijns stated that his reasoning behind leaving the series is simply financial.

"So that was it then. No money no drive," the Dutchman wrote on Twitter.

Adrian drove for MP Motorsport in GP2, and has driven in Auto GP, GP3 and Formula 3 with a stint as a test driver for Virgin F1 during 2011.

To replace the departing Quaife-Hobbs, is Spaniard Dani Clos.

Dani will move to MP Motorsport after a year out of GP2. In his career, he has driven as a test driver for HRT, and is currently testing for Williams.

"The experience he brings to the team will be priceless. He's won in GP2 and has tested in Formula 1. We're all really looking forward to working with him for the first time in Hungary this weekend." Said MP team principal Sander Dorsman.

"We're delighted to welcome Dani to the team,"

Trident will welcome Ricardo Teixeira back to the team. Teixeira will replace Kevin Ceccon in Hungary, who currently lies 15th in the standings.

The Angolan drove for Trident in 2009, and with Rapax in 2012, but left scoring no points.

Ricardo had a stint in Formula 2 during 2010, finishing 16th.

He replaces Italian Kevin Ceccon, who was involved in a heavy accident back in Germany. Just after the start, Ceccon found himself wedged between his teammate Nathanael Berthon, and ART's Daniel Abt. With little he could do, Ceccon ended up running into the back of MP Motorsport's Adrian Quaife-Hobbs who had stalled up ahead.

It is unclear why Kevni Ceccon is not driving, as he was not injured during the incident at the Nurburgring.

Whether Teixeira is replacing Ceccon just at the Hungaroring, or for the remainder of the season, is also not known.

This is an absolutely ridiculous state of affairs. (Particularly the Robin Frijn part, hardly mentioned here) It is the final nail in the coffin for me as far as single seat racing goes. Stuff it. I'm now solely a sports car and amateur racing fan.

I was raging. Even more as Quaife-Hobbs already had a team.

STAY THERE damnit!

And Hilmer: What do you want: Money, that will run out whenever that guy can't pay anymore or taste success that Frijn&Lancaster gave you in your debut season(although it's Lazarus GP in fact)?
