As (current) World Series director, let me state my interpretation, which differs from David's a bit. I think we cannot know exactly how much each vote is influenced, even though this thread clearly had a fishy trend towards the end (no need to mention names).

For me, representing FSR, the matter is simple: we want the maximize the driver pool in WS, hence it was implicitly obvious that this vote was about hearing WS drivers' opinions, not WC drivers for example, neither team managers nor owners (yes, they MIGHT play a part in race preparations, but for FSR it is of secondary interest compared to the actual driver's opinion). Sadly this was misunderstood by some people.

Either way, this interpretation changes nothing compared to what David already posted, since the result is 16-15 for option c), excluding team managers, drivers with WC status, and one commentator (who voted for c). Consequently, I see this matter as closed.
