I can understand why Simbin want to attract people back to the product who've downloaded and hardly played. Just would have been nice to offer a little something to the regulars, particularly those who have paid £30+ for DTM Experience which is massively overpriced as it is.
I have two accounts and recieved 1100 vrp on one and 500 on the other. I redeemed both on the same acount. But since I allready have all of the content including DTM, liveries etc. I now have over 3600 vrp in my account but nothing to spend it on.
Regardless, its a nice gesture from Simbin .. Much appreciated!
Does it work for you? I discovered it myself. But then it didn't let me actually pay. Just no response to my mouse clicking...That's why I didn't tell it here. Didn't think it works this way.
Nothing in junk/spam. The last email I received from SimBin was yesterday the 19th with information on the big update, before that June 12th I received an email regarding the coming update, but nothing for the free credits.
Yes, my Steam account is linked. In addition to my vRP I purchased, I also have a "RaceRoom Racing Experience Comp" with an acquisition method of "Retail". I assume this is the DTM license I purchased through RaceDepartment.
hardly ever touched it and got 800. bought two childhood favourites the bmw group5 and the bmw m. might give them a spin tonight after the footie. very nice gesture, thx simbin.
I got 500 vrp by e-mail two days ago and was able to buy the Audi 90 and a Camaro.
It was a nice gesture on Simbin's part but I rarely touch this game.
I absolutely hate the interface. It's too busy and just a bit too complex.
I'll sometimes select a car and get something completely different on entering the game.
Sometimes, while running the game my computer will just go into hibernation mode for no known reason....and it's just with this game. No others exhibit this trait.
I uninstalled it a few weeks ago and got 300.
Is it for people who have uninstalled to entice them back? Seems that way. Nice gesture but to not reward loyal and big spending customers as well.... is just wrong.
