F1 2010 Ferrari will not reach 300 kph?!?

I have no idea why but for some reason reguardless of the circuit, downforce level, engine mapping. I can not get my Ferrari to reach 300kph. It seems to stall at 297kph and can not go any further. It does it in my career as well as in time trial mode. Is my file corrupted or is this a bug?

are you using a wheel??
i've read somewhere that some wheels when you apply throttle gradually.. ur not able to ge to stop speed.. so maybe that can be issue..

also check you deadzone setting.. might have something to do with that too..

normally bahrain does like this because is the first race of the season.other cars are slower (no matter the set up)

Is this only with the Ferrari or also with the other cars?
Cause, if this is happening with all your cars, this could be your gaz pedal that is worned out.

No guys this is on 360. I'm using a controller with no downforce and full speed engine mapping.

It's about all top cars (RB, McL, Fer may be more) with default setup.
(Weak cars don't have time to reach this in commmmon)
that they don't reach 300 kph. You'll see more speed at the next tracks
or change setup manually/

do you use the analog sticks to accelerate or buttons?? did you happen to check your throttle saturation and deadzone setting?

Did you setup your gear ratio? That's the most important thing to reach high speeds, provided your wings are already setup correctly. Even with a slow engine map u can reach high speeds, your acceleration will only be slower.
