Dian Kostadinov finished 12th in the latest race of the Formula SimRacing in Shanghai. This is the third consecutive race in which at least one Eventa Simracing car reaches the final.
The Bulgarian team made its debut in the World Championship this season and scored points in the first two races in 2014.
In China the team experienced its hardest race so far, as Kostadinov could not find the right setup and thus did not make it to the points.
He was also hit by another car at the start of the race and had to drop back to 23rd place. After a great drive though he made it to P12.
Despite the difficulties he brought the car home and helped the team continue its finishing streak in 2014.
"This was the hardest track for me. My adaptation to the new sim rFactor 2 is not that fast, but we are not giving up. There are still a lot of races and we are looking forward to the next race", said Kostadinov.
The second driver of the team Alvaro Torres had to retire after three laps due to suspension problems.
"China was the hardest race for us so far, - added Eventa founder Trayan Sarafov. - But Dian made it to the final and that is incredible. It is never easy to make it to the end of the race when you are having so much difficulties. In Eventa we are strong believers and Kostadinov proved that in Shanghai. We move forward with great concentration, dedication and patience."
The race at Shanghai was won by Morgan Morand for Crown7Netrex. The French made it 3 out of 3 and holds the No.1 spot in the championship.
In the current standings Eventa Simracing holds 8th place with 5 pts.
