After 3 years of work, Enduracers and the Gentlemen Racers are happily releasing the 1st package of the Endurance Series mod for rFactor. It will give you the chance to simulate the best endurance racing experience ever seen in a video game. Cars from ALMS, LMS and the Le Mans 24hrs are scheduled for this mod. Audi vs Peugeot, Aston Martin vs Corvette, Porsche vs Ferrari...

For this important mod EnduRacers has chosen to work in packs. After the initial release including the mod base and first pack of cars, Enduracers will release frequent "Service Packs", adding new car models, sounds, physics and skins. That is why the mod can be classified as "evolutive" and will live and grow continuously after the initial v1.0 release.

Don't forget to read through the readme carefully, you will find a lot of important information in order to use the mod in the best possible way. Don't forget that the mod is very big, and that this is endurance. Don't judge it by doing 2 laps with 1 car, take your time to learn it and really appreciate it.

At first I want to thank you for the great SP2! :D
But I have found one error with some of the alpha channels on the new Porsche skins...they seem to be saved in the wrong format or with the wrong settings. I downloaded the SP2 as a single download and the full package and found the same mistakes with the alpha-channel:

The skins with this issue are: 11LM_Larbre Competition, 11LM_Proton Competition, 11LMS_Felbermayr Proton and 11LMS_Proton Competition.

I will fix it by myself but maybe a official patch would be needed?! Or is everyone willing to fix it by himself?! :D

EDIT: The issues some reported on the dirt in the cockpits seems to come from missing int-window textures for the respective skins...the old skins all do have those int-window textures ;)

Although the models and the sounds of this mod are awesome and second to none in rFactor I still have to cry each time I fire it up to race any of the cars. The physics are so strange that it makes driving for me almost impossible.

Is there no way to adjust this mod so that the cars actually have some grip and don't spin out everytime you lift the throttle under braking or with snap oversteer?

These cars do snap oversteer in real life by the way, they are not what you can call "progressive"... Lift off oversteer ? On what car ?

As for grip, it's pretty spot on the way it is to be honest, we don't want a "Serie Internationale Du Mans" clone, where GT cars have grip on par with LMP's

I think the differential lock is **** in whole mod, (and not just me sayin' this sentences). I saw better differential locks. I switch up the "power" to 60 or upper and donuts is really hard, i can make around 500 degrees without any assists, seriously is it real? I don't think so.
Grip is really funny ye its "iceskating grip" how Bam just said. Sometimes the car live other life, movement of car's bottom is random, doesn't matter which track is it. Suspension's physics is very bad, i can't feel the changes.
It's could be better.:)

I'm waitin' for the 2012 session's cars

I downloaded SP2 and tried this for the first time in ages. 50 cars at Paul Ricard without a hint of slowdown, great stuff.

Its really difficult to spot the prototypes gaining on me in cockpit view mirrors though and they will ram me off without a second thought. AI sucks in rFactor all together tho :(

well, i hope someone can help me out here..
i kinda like this enduracers sp2 ... driving offline. So basicly...i created own endurance championships by adding some more LMP1 cars (Aston Martin, Toyota and Bentley... changing some skins... and switching some engine files for more competitive champs. Anyway, in original enduracers pack was pretty annoying.. by setting 1h race with 3 or 4 x fuel consumption, tyre consumtion and time elapse... i usually finding Audi and Pug refuelling quite a lot before than LMP2 cars...Acura,Spyder,Courage...which showed quite a strange results, with Pugs and Audis all finishing behind those smaller cars due to fuel consumption. OK...i did check engine files and noticed consumptions:
Peugeot:FuelConsumption=7.365e-05
Audi: FuelConsumption=7.017e-05
Acura:FuelConsumption=2.575e-05
so...i did tweak those settings, that Pug and Audi could go more distance, but even that i changed just a little...like Pug consumption 6.000e-05 and Acura (which i drive) just a bit more consumption ..arround 3.5, now i´m getting even more bizzare results, because even with my Acura having less consumption i must pit first at least lap or two before Audi´s. How could this happen? ...or...maybee somebody have values which could fit, to have solid races, where Audi´,Pug,Aston have an edge with speed, but to have some great races where my LMP2 car could just snatch some glory with better strategy, by saving fuel,tyres,car...etc. Now, that would be fun for my kind of racing...and could set races for hour or two, and also given the car to PC to run some stints inbetween. Any idea how to solve that? thx

Can I just say that the Flat6 GTC is an amazing car to drive. You've really outdone yourselves, and quite frankly I think this is the best rF1 will ever be. The car is a blast.

It's good to see that any... issues... have been worked around ;)
