DiRT Rally do liveries only work with steam version

Hi everyone, I'm new here and need to know, do dirt rally liveries only work with Steam version only? I have a cracked/pirated copy (reloaded version) which is installed in my PC drive D. I copied/replaced some liveries but none works for me. can anyone help please. thanks
