Dissaperance of R3E from Steam

Its gone from the Steam store, so its not downloadable for new users, is this a good sign? a possible big patch coming? Its got me curious.

have you checked in steam the files ?*right click on game/properties/ local files :ccheck integrity....
after that if it doesnt work try this

go here Users\YOUR Name\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData

in there remove the graphics options xml (just move it to the desktop)

if that works you will need to reset your graphic options

Neither fast or cheap.... Im in Angola - Africa working.... and will only be in europe in July or August

EDIT: didnt work, thank you all very much for your help... I will have to wait until Im in Europe so I can uninstall and doenload and install the game again

OK I have found out what it was... I tryed everything and it was the comodo firewall... but just closing the firewall wasnt working... I had to disable the HIPS setting as I cant seem to make a custom rule set for R3E...

yep, have to try it naked. Most problems with users seem to relate back to AV/firewall.
