.dds to .psd - possible?

Hi,

Is it possible to convert a .dds file to .psd file with layers?

If so, how?

in photoshop, just use save as and you will get a RGB/R/G/B/Alpha channeled .psd (Alpha only on a DXT 3 or DXT 5 .dds)

then go wild with layers....

But the .dds is a flat file. Saving it as a .psd just makes a .psd with a flat file.

well, yes, there is no way that I know to easily convert any type of texture/image into a layered file. All you can do is to manually extract it in to layers yourself.
