F1 2013 Crashing after loading saved race

Hey guys. So I load my saved race and the game crashes. Any possible fixes anyone might have? Much appreciated

I had this happen a while back - it was preceded by a message about not being able to connect to the Steam Cloud and gave me two options. I don't recall which option I chose, but it was obviously the wrong one.

I went into the steam\userdata\local\savegame folder and deleted the file there. The game loaded OK and the saved game was recovered from the Cloud, which obviously was connectable again.
