Crash on rFactor

    I don't know what happen,I on server play 3 hour,have 3 crash for me and freeze,
    I use GTX 260,I use nVidia 190.62 driver,
    And use new direct x ( DirectX End-User Redistributable 9.27.1734 )

    I on the server play sometime,and then,it freeze 10-15 sec,
    Freeze after,all pic is crash,but,can work and can esc,
    Why ?

    When this happens to me, it is almost always related to heat .... gotta keep the GPU cool.

    Mtommi I keep a floor fan blowing at my computer when ever I race and never have heat issues. I learned this when my air conditioning was not working and I used the fan when I started having problems because of heat.

    Mtommi Tam, I have a an 8800gt and get the exact same problem as you, pain in the Ars*. I do think it might be heat related because it improves if I take the side off my case.

    I think give cold for the card is must,
    I think,if more than 50'C will be crash pic,so,keep cold

    I use this RivaTuner221-[Guru3D.com].exe
    It can let me control the display card the fan
    I push fan speed to 85% :)

    I´ve got the exact same problem (GTX 260),
    and i dont think its heat related.

    I actually know a lot of people having problems with newer nvidia cards + rfactor.

    I was told changing to a 64 bit OS will solve it.
    I´m gonna try that.

    Stupid nvidia! :curse:
