Changing the car sounds on online version

If i want new engine sounds for the WTCC or STCC cars on Race07 or GTR Evolution then how do i go about it because i created

GameData > Sounds > Car > STCC > Volvo_C30 then put the sounds in there but i get no sounds from the car at all. I used GCFScape to find the names of the sounds and all the ones ive put in my directory have the same names

you have to create a new car like a mini mod to adjust anything on a stock SinBin car
