F1 2012 Car Setup, In which game mode?

Hi all,

I'm trying to make an online car setup, (Equal Car Performance) but i'm not sure in which game mode to do this.

- I tried Time Trial but theres no possibillity to change tires and fuel loads. Positive from TT is though that you have
equal car performance.
- Quick Race is where one normally would do this, but we have no option to set Equal Car Performance.
(besides that, i surely miss the 3 Practice Sessions)
Here rises my next question; on which carmodel(Team) is the online equal car performance based?
If i knew this i could take this Car (Team), for every track to make my setups. Ofcourse i would have to fine tune
them in online races, but that's the least of my problem LOL.
I hope you guys have some ideas

I believe Quick Race has Equal Car Performance as default?

No it doesn't, check the max. value 7th gear from each car in the setup menu and you will discover it isn't.
Let me give you some examples.
Maximum values (slider all the way to the right) 7th Gear in Melbourne.
- McLaren 328 km/h.
- Redbull 318 km/h.
- Ferrari 325 km/h.

Im thinking exactly the same heuts,and im honestly think that you cant really do it,only in quick race but the cars arent equal here so when racing online it could drive different with equal cars.

This is why there should be an option for an online practice session, or at the very least let the game allow you to setup a single player LAN game, just you on track. You would then use the LAN game (which is the same as being online), to do your online setups
