Does anyone have one yet? Been looking at one on Dabs.com for £198.00 and seriously considering....
Just buy it. No need to say anymore.
Glad this thread is up

5850 XFire would be faster but personally 1 5870 is plenty enough power.
Done...no where had it in stock apart from ebuyer and overclock.co.uk. I got it from overclock for 210 next day delivery. Fingers crossed it will show up 2moz. I feel like a little kid waiting for christmas
I was going to get one for a new build, but OCuK have sold out again.. I swear it's the same person buying all the 5800's and selling them on ebay...........
Rob i got mine from overclock.co.uk not overclockers.co.uk there is one on there still in stock. Mines here, can't wait to get home and install this puppy

Are you noticing a HUGE DIFFERENCE?
Installed in PC, just installing CCC

Ummm lovely card, been playing Arma 2 with lots of high settings and smooth as butter:bang:
Will try increasing the settings some more later :smile-big:
Race 07 look any better?
Not tried yet ben but look at the 5850 goodness
i`m already playing ArmaII on max settings with only a slight bit of lag so your card should rape its ass :freaked-out:
Great card, I bought one myself to exchange my 8800GTS, amazing performance and a great value. I really recommend this card for anyone who needs a new card now.
For those who experience a lower Windows Experience index score, by default this card gets a 6.0 which is lower than my old card, I recommend to open a 3D test program like Vantage. Running the index again whith a 3D tester open gives full performance and then you get a 7.7. Not that is says much but it is better for your ego.
Your 4850 rapes Race07. 5850 is overkill for the game.
Not quite, I couldn't turn track draw distance right up because my 4850 only had 512mb
What resolution ? Don't sound right anyway.
he's on 1360 x 768
Can turn draw distance on max on a 9600gt at 1280x1024 so very surprised his 4850 struggled with that. But I need a upgrade badly for those other none sim games!
Anyway enjoy the 5850, beast of a card.
