Always welcome here Kid. It's unlikely we'll get a full grid so there should always be space for you to slot in whenever you can. Fun and clean are our bywords here so you should fit in just fine. There's only one rule... you can only overtake me on a straight.. with a 'Q' in it's name :ninja::whistling:

I would also add "real" to our description. We get certain low numbers of drivers because of what we race, how we race it, and what assists are banned. It's not always very popular when you add it all up, but being popular is not really a goal. It's nice, but staying as close to the actual act of racing (or, more accurately, the act that professional drivers go through when they get on a simulator) is more important to me.

Here is the next series and support series, as proposed.

Proposed: International Touring Car Championship

Can we clarify whether this is 10pm GMT or BST. We changed over to BST today. Caught me out as well...

Opps. Hard to keep up with time changes worldwide, so thanks. (They even differ from state to state here. :O_o:). BST is what I meant. And if a 10:30 start time, with the races ending (ideally) somewhere between 11:45 and 11:55 BST, then maybe that's okay? I'd not mind at all, of course. Peter, you are the one that matters. Keep in mind, practice and qualifying will take 30 mins., so the races will not start until 35 mins. after the "start" of the gathering. This would, I think, give boothy time to join.

Another idea is to move practice and qualifying to 10:15 BST ts
I wouldn't get onto my xbox til 10.50-11pm here.
That would have us finishing at 12:20am-12:25am BST, but earlier if we started earlier. If we started at 10:45pm BST, with qualifying at 11pm BST, then we would finish 12 midnight. We start at 10:30pm BST, we finish at 11:45pm BST. However, I'm not sure you can join a qualifying session. Anyone know? Or would we have to start again?
Don't forget, these are going to be rolling starts, so we don't have to be in a perfect line to start. We will have a parade lap where people can get wheel and game straight, etc. Indy starts are rolling after they tried standing and the gearboxes (even Montoya could not do it) were exploding. The other series' are standing, but we can line up after a parade lap and go on a certain time stamp. I don't anticipate having any A.I. at all for any of these races.

Id be able to race until 1am BST. It's just a matter of a suitable time for Peter really.

I'd happily go with whatever start time Boothy can make as he's always been a regular and circumstances have robbed him of the chance to race. As I've stated I'll probably only be looking at running in one of the series so why not have one starting at the time Boothy can make and the other at the earlier time?

Nic (Epileptic Toast): DRIVER'S CHAMPION - LOTUS CLASSIC F1 LEAGUE
RACE DEPARTMENT, the Series Organizers, and all involved wish to congratulate Nic Worsfold on his win in the Lotus Classic F1 World Championship.
:);):cool::p:D:rolleyes::geek::coffee::roflmao::O_o::giggle::sleep::ninja::laugh::cautious::notworthy::cry::inlove::thumbsup::thumbsdown::barefoot::speechless::sneaky::x3::whistling: and many more emotions went through other drivers' heads when trying to best Nic. "Toast" picked perhaps the most diverse lineup of open wheel cars, spanning the most decades, driven on the most diverse track to date.

Nic took wins in the British (besting Peter and putting us on notice), the English at Silverstone (besting a very strong field), Spa (qualifying some two seconds ahead of Peter), tough race at Monaco with himself (his toughest opponent to date), then some bad luck in Germany ("lost a wheel and the engine magically blew"), and Monza (despite Eric running a faster lap), the wild and wooly Watkins Glen race, and still blew our doors off in a non-points race through the Scottish countryside.

In fact, the only time Nic ever lost was when he didn't show up. Well, Rouen was Peter over Nic, but that's just because Peter attended the race in person. :)

"Toast" was there for the duration and always prepared with speed and consistency. This twelve race series was not for the faint of heart and involved a different car on different track every race. Some with no downforce, some with radial tires, some with bias ply, and some with spool-you-to-damnation turbo boost. Nic clearly showed he knows his way around the track and we are proud to have him as the Chief Steward for the next series (Indycar/Touring Car).

We are also proud to present Nic with this trophy:
BRPF1Trophy.jpg

Which will be on display at Alert, Nunavut, Canada forever. If anyone wants to visit....

Final Standings, Lotus Classic F1:
1. Nic - 226
2. Peter - 158
3. Robert - 147
4. Eric - 122.5
5. Boothy - 66
6. Railer - 27
7. Michael - 18

thanks Robert, I am so happy to have won my first league championship in such tough and incredible machinery, while racing with some great and very helpful company. This series has been an awesome experience, I'll gladly race you guys whenever possible for as long as possible!
Looking forward to the Indycars!

Nic Worsfold - Driver Champion, LMP2 Support Series
Final Standings, LMP2:
1. Nic - 143
2. Robert - 115
3. Peter - 112
4. Michael - 98
5. Eric - 93
6. Boothy - 64
7. Blue - 18

These cars were fast and fun, so there was ample opportunity for others to try and top Nic, but nobody could. The field was tightly bunched after first place, and China saw perhaps the closest finish ever in Project Cars (after a 90 minute race), but "Toast" is what the rest of us still were.

Great job in taking the double Championships, Nic!! We all look forward to many more races with you and will try to step our game up accordingly.
